Visiting the International Exhibition of Agricultural Investment and Technology in Tunis

Each year the “Salon International de l'Investissement Agricole et de la Technologie – SIAT” is organized in Tunis

This year, the 13th edition of the international exhibition has taken place from October 10th to 13th in Tunis under the topic “towards an intelligent agriculture”. The exhibition was composed of different attractions including 250 stands promoting, among other things, products from the region, or the latest agricultural innovations; ¨demonstration sessions ,an international forum and agricultural partnerships.  

During the four days of exhibition, the team of the fertiledatepalm project maintained a stand to inform visitors about the project idea and visualized the project vision and activities on various posters and a video clip. Farmers, professionals from tissue culture laboratories and distributors of agricultural products were attracted and requested further insights.

Prior to the exhibition, the project partners met for the annual meeting to present the results of the past year and to discuss and plan the activities for the coming months.  

In addition and preceding the SIAT, all project members assembled for their annual meeting at the Biotechnological Centre of Borj Cédria located approximately 30 km away from Tunis in order to present the results of the past year and to discuss and plan the activities for the upcoming months.
